UP SOCIETAS MULIERUM
Sorority, established in 1982.
Founded in 1982 by the elders of the UP Society of Men who aimed to uphold the growing population of women in the veterinary profession, the UP Societas Mulierum, the premiere sorority of the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of the Philippines Los Baños, was born. Being the crème de la crème of their time, the eight young women were chosen to lead the sorority in our formative years and have continued to stand as our strength and guidance, as have the other exemplary women we have produced, all of who possessed beauty, brains, great character, and great potential, all the while upholding our principles of mutual respect and abiding love.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2023-2024, this student organization has 35 members. Since UPSMSORO is a college-based student organization, only students from CVM may apply to join the organization.
Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to UPSMSORO. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
