TAU ALPHA FRATERNITY
Fraternity, clustered under Fraternities, established in 1932.
TAU ALPHA, established on June 27, 1932, is a duly recognized and most acclaimed fraternity based in UP College of Engineering. Dubbed as one of the vintage and first fraternities in Asia, it is the only Greek-lettered fraternity based solely on Greek principles, the cradle of human civilization. The fraternity has grown to be the most prestigious and respected fraternity not only of the College of Engineering but that of our Philippine history. In the entire history of the College of Engineering, only TAU ALPHA was awarded by the Engineering Administration as the Best Fraternity of the College of Engineering.

Membership
As of First Semester, AY 2023-2024, this student organization has 21 members. Since TAU ALPHA is a college-based student organization, only students from CEAT may apply to join the organization.
Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to TAU ALPHA. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
