Cultural Organization, clustered under Cultural, established in 1972.

The UPLB Writers’ Club (UPLBWC) is a non-profit socio-cultural organization at the University of Philippines Los Baños. The organization is composed of young writers and literature enthusiasts that continues to view, utilize and create literary works as a medium to forward alternative and progressive culture for the interest of the student body and theFilipino people.

As of Midyear Term 2025, this student organization has 21 members. Since UPLBWC is a college-based student organization, only students from University-wide may apply to join the organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to UPLBWC. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.

OSAM System

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Management (OSAM) System is a modernization project of OVCSA. OSAM is an advanced web application with web and mobile components to eradicate the need for students queuing up for services. OVCSA is taking advantage of the benefits of Information Technology to promote students’ academic growth and personal development.
