Umalohokan, Inc.

Cultural Organization, clustered under Culture and Arts, established in 1977.

Umalohokan, Inc. is a socio-cultural organization founded on December 21, 1977 in the University of the Philippines-Los Baños, at the height of the 1972 Martial Law. The organization has since then and until now utilized different forms of art and media in portraying social issues and empowering the Filipino people, especially the youth, to organize and mobilize against social injustices.

As of Second Semester, AY 2025-2026, this student organization has 122 members. Students may apply to join the student organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to Umal. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
