The U.P. Alliance of Students Unified for Sociology (UP ASUS) - a non-partisan academic-civic student organization - primarily seeks to promote Sociology and its creed to the general public. UP ASUS, as an academic-civic organization, gives equal importance to the academic excellence of each of its members, as well as its recognition towards the social responsibilities - which members, collectively as an organization, hold as practitioners of Sociology within a rapidly changing society.

Membership
As of First Semester, AY 2026-2027, this student organization has 53 members. Since UP ASUS is a college-based student organization, only students from CAS may apply to join the organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to UP ASUS. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
