ASSOCIATION OF FILIPINO FORESTRY STUDENTS-UPLB

Academic Organization, clustered under Veterinary and Natural Resources, established in 1999.

The Association of Filipino Forestry Students (AFFS) is an academic-environmental organization and was formally established in 1997 during the 1st National Forestry Student Congress held in UPLB from November 13-16, 1997. Its creation was inspired by its mother organization--the ASEAN Forestry Student Association (AFSA), which is currently based in Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2023-2024, this student organization has 66 members. Since AFFS-UPLB, INC. is a college-based student organization, only students from CFNR may apply to join the organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to AFFS-UPLB, INC.. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
