The UPLB Development Communicators' Society is the pioneering organization in the College of Development Communication and has been a venue of harnessing bright minds in the pursuit of academic excellence, campus leadership, and independence of thought since its establishment in 1972.

As of Midyear Term 2017, this student organization has 32 members. Since UPLB DCS is a college-based student organization, only non-freshman students from CDC may apply to join the organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to UPLB DCS. All recognized student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
