THE UPLB MICROBIOLOGICAL SOCIETY
Academic Organization, clustered under Biological Sciences, established in 1983.
The UPLB Microbiological Society (MICROSOC) is a duly recognized academic organization composed of students from different courses who share enthusiasm for Microbiology. The Society takes pride in continuing the legacy of academic excellence in the field of Microbiology and other scientific fields. The organization promotes the ideals and principles of Microbiology through various activities that develop human potential and impart holistic experiences to its constituents.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 58 members. Since UPLB MICROSOC is a college-based student organization, only students from CAS may apply to join the organization.
Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to UPLB MICROSOC. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
