Academic Organization, clustered under Engineering, established in 1998.

The UPLB Society of Electrical Engineering Students was founded on February 5, 1998. It is the first and only academic organization that is exclusive for Electrical Engineering students. It utilizes activities to pursue its goals in community service and contribution to the advancement of humanity through Electrical Engineering.

As of First Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 221 members. Since UPLB SELES is a college-based student organization, only students from CEAT may apply to join the organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to UPLB SELES. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Management (OSAM) System is a modernization project of OVCSA. OSAM is an advanced web application with web and mobile components to eradicate the need for students queuing up for services. OVCSA is taking advantage of the benefits of Information Technology to promote students’ academic growth and personal development.
