The Society of Applied Mathematics of UPLB (SAM-UP) is an academic organization existing to meet its objectives for the betterment of its members, the university and the community.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2023-2024, this student organization has 73 members. Since SAM-UP is a college-based student organization, only students from CAS may apply to join the organization.
Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to SAM-UP. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
