Socio-Civic Organization, established in 1964.

UP Sarong Banggi, a socio-cultural and civic organization, was founded by 10 UPLB Bicolano students on October 10, 1964. Aside from common love of Bikolandia, unity and academic excellence, SB inculcated to its members the virtues of brotherhood, leadership, loyalty, and humility.

As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 50 members. Students may apply to join the student organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to UPSB. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
