AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership, and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin. Our vision for the world is reflected in the simple statement: Peace and Fulfilment of Humankind's Potential. AIESEC is an organization in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), affiliated with the UN DPI, member of ICMYO, and is recognized by UNESCO. AIESEC International is registered as a Foundation (Stichting), RSIN #807103895 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. AIESEC in the University of the Philippines Los Baños was founded in 2013 and is currently operating as a Local Committee as part of the national entity, AIESEC in the Philippines, herein referred to as AIESEC PHL.

As of Second Semester, AY 2020-2021, this student organization has 100 members. Non-freshman students may apply to join the student organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to AIESEC in UPLB. All recognized student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
