UP OIKOS

Academic Organization, clustered under Social Sciences, established in 1978.

UP OIKOS is an environmental academic organization in the College of Human Ecology at Los Banos. It derives its name from the Greek word "Oikos" meaning house. However, the concern of the organization embraces not only the man, but also the surrounding environment in which man is part.

Membership
As of Second Semester, AY 2024-2025, this student organization has 63 members. Since OIKOS is a college-based student organization, only students from CHE may apply to join the organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to OIKOS. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
