UP SIBOL is a duly recognized socio-civic organization of the University of the Philippines Los Baños. Before it became an organization, it started as a political party on July 24, 2001 for the UPLB College of Development Communication-College Student Council elections. From a political party, it became an organization on August 22, 2001.

Membership
As of Midyear Term 2023, this student organization has 16 members. Students may apply to join the student organization.

Like other organizations in the university, there is a process for membership to UP SIBOL. All registered student organizations have pledged their compliance to the Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law.
